Site of the Week (or thereabouts ...)
More about libraries. The Anglican Library Society - I didn't even know there was an Anglican Library Society! Surely combines two of my abiding, life-long loves: for the Church of England and for libraries. Take a special look, on the Librariana page, at Ann owed two the spelling chequer.
Here are some previous Sites of the Week:
Librarians rock! In the USA, at least, where they have great
websites, are keen web authors and bloggers, and care about issues.
Where are there any Brits in the same league?

I was amazed and delighted to read about the charges against Katharine Gun being dropped - apparently because the Government had realised that no jury in the land would convict her, in spite of the evidence and in spite of her never having denied that she did what she was accused of. Liberty is an organisation fighting to protect civil liberties and promote human rights.
Just discovered the New Internationalist web site. I used to subscribe, and maybe I should again. Check out the Back Issues: particularly the one on Islam (May 2002).
Tim Sheppard's Storytelling Resources for Storytellers - A huge collection of articles and links
Jakob Nielsen on Usability and Web Design: I've been browsing this site, thinking of how to make my own web pages easier to use, quicker to load, more useful to anyone reading them.
Georgy Russell for Governor of California!
Another good reason not to use Microsoft!
I'm reading The Shorter Pepys: a selection from the Diary
which runs to a million and a quarter words. Even this Penguin
edition, which is about one-third of the length, has over a
thousand pages. But it's great fun: I never realised what an
interesting human being Pepys was.
So I was pleased to find a weblog version of Pepys' Diary.
I think Jessamyn is really cool. Imagine: a freelance librarian!
Remember Wesley Crusher on Star Trek: The Next Generation? Here is Wil Wheaton's Website.
