6.00 p.m. Evening Praise: A more informal act of worship, exploring different ways of using our creativity and gifts to worship God.
Our Sunday services aren't trying to provide high class entertainment, but satisfying worship that honours God and feeds the human mind and spirit as it builds the church.
Services are formal, in that they follow a liturgical pattern, but informal, because the Vicar generally can't go too far without dropping his papers or losing his place. So we're fairly relaxed about it and nobody minds if people stand or sit in different places or aren't too familiar with the service. There's always someone nearby to help!
But as well as feeling at home in the house of God, like beloved children, we also believe most passionately in the importance of carefully reading and preaching the Word, and properly and prayerfully receiving the Sacraments.
7.30 a.m. Holy Communion
Morning Prayer and Evening Prayer are said in church every day except Tuesdays, at 7.30 a.m. and 5.00 p.m.
